Billerica Cat Care Coalition, is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, all volunteer organization, which has been in existence for five years. Currently, we are accepting applications for two new board director positions with experience in finance/accounting and also in human resources.

Fundraiser

If you have fundraising experience with non-profit organizations, your skills are in great demand at BCCC. We need ideas for fundraisers, contacts, tips on running events-in short- we need you and your expertise! We are doing well on our own, but with expert help-the sky is the limit in helping the cats! Estimated time commitment: As much or as little as you are able.

Grant Writer

If you have grant writing experience, we need your writing skills to help BCCC apply for funding for public education campaigns and conducting low-cost spay/neuter clinics. Estimated time commitment: As much or as little as you are able.

Carpenter

Use your carpentry skills to build much needed cat shelters and feeding stations so that the cats have a warm place to sleep and dry food to eat. BCCC provides the wood and plans and you provide tools and know-how! Estimated time commitment: Approximately 2 hours per unit

Foster Care

Foster parents care for either cats or kittens by providing a loving environment and daily care consisting of food, water, litter box, medical care, toys and all the other comforts of home. Most important is the time spent socializing the cat so that s/he becomes accustomed to people and indoor life. Fostering is a very rewarding experience as you are helping a needy cat prepare for the new family life every animal deserves. The cost of foster care does not fall solely on the foster parent; many costs are provided for by BCCC. Fill out a Foster Application
