Professional Opportunities

We are in need of several professionals to help us help the cats and kittens of Billerica! Please Contact Us if you are able to fill a need below.

Fundraiser - If you have fundraising experience with non-profit organizations, your skills are in great demand at BCCC. We need ideas for fundraisers, contacts, tips on running events-in short- we need you and your expertise! We are doing well on our own, but with expert help-the sky is the limit in helping the cats! Estimated time commitment: As much or as little as you are able.  

Grant Writer - If you have grant writing experience, we need your writing skills to help BCCC apply for funding for public education campaigns and conducting low-cost spay/neuter clinics. Estimated time commitment: As much or as little as you are able.  

Attorney - POSITION FILLED - Periodically, there may be a need for legal advice or assistance with such matters such as contracts, interpretation of laws, etc. We do not anticipate that there will be many issues to contend with, however; we would like to be able to reach out for a quick response when needed. Estimated time commitment: 10-15 hours 

Certified Public Accountant - POSITION FILLED - As a non-profit, it is important to ensure that BCCC remains compliant with all applicable accounting and tax regulations. BCCC requires the services of an accountant who will ensure that the organization is operating under generally accepted accounting principles. Estimated time commitment: 7-10 hours 

Auditor - POSITION FILLED - To assure that our financial activities and procedures are above board and beyond question, BCCC is seeking the services of an outsider auditor to conduct an annual audit of the financial activities of the group. Estimated time commitment: 7-10 hours  

Graphic Designer - Eye-catching flyers, posters and brochures are critical in getting the BCCC message across to the public. From fundraising flyers to informational brochures –we need it all! If you would like to create just one flyer or can envision yourself creating "The Look" for BCCC, we would appreciate your help! Estimated time commitment: As much or as little as you are able. 

Webmaster - POSITION FILLED - Creating a dynamic, inviting and informative web page is the way to get the message out about BCCC’s work in helping the cats! Creating and maintaining the BCCC website will enable the group to reach out to the greatest number of people possible and what could be better for the cats? If you have the skill, time and desire to create and maintain a website that will benefit the cats, we could use your help. Estimated time commitment:  10 hours 

Carpenter - Use your carpentry skills to build much needed cat shelters and feeding stations so that the cats have a warm place to sleep and dry food to eat. BCCC provides the wood and plans and you provide tools and know-how! Estimated time commitment: Approximately 2 hours per unit
