Meet Trixie

BCCC received an email about a stray cat found in a basement who was in need of medical assistance. We brought Trixie to our vet who prescribed a series of allergy injections to treat her very bare and weepy belly. She was also put on medication for a thyroid condition. A heart murmur was also detected. Since coming into foster care this sweet elderly kitty has thrived. The fur on her belly has grown back and the medications have helped her gain weight. She is a love bug, wanting nothing more than to be held and loved. Her fur is now soft and clean. She gets along with other cats and is living with a small dog. She is negative for FIV/FeLV and we believe she is already spayed. Her vet estimates she is 10 years old. In her former life someone had her declawed. Because of her medication needs we consider her to be a Special Needs kitty. Please consider adopting Trixie, she’ll give you lots of love.
