Help Tj

Poor T.J. - she has been in severe pain and unable to walk very far for some time now. Jan, T.J.'s foster mom, brought her to the vet back at the end of February and found out she has a congenital disorder called "luxating patella" - floating kneecap, which pops out. This is an extremely painful condition which makes young T.J. unable to walk, except for a couple of steps before she has to lay down. (This is the same kitty who lost her mother and 2 siblings to cars - she is the last one left).

T.J. underwent major surgery on the right leg which required a 6-week recovery time at a cost of over $600.00 and the surgery was a success. She has recovered from this first surgery, but it was determined that she would also need her left knee done so she could walk again and be free from pain. She had her second surgery on April 1st at a cost of again over $600.00. She will have another 6-week recovery period and we are positive that with this second surgery T.J. will be her sweet and healthy self again.

Donations are greatly needed and appreciated to help with the cost of T.J.'s surgery so that BCCC can continue to serve other cats and kittens that have needs just like T.J.'s.
