Help MollyUPDATE! On Nov, 14, 2007 Molly had the surgery that she so badly needed to help with her eyesight. She had what is called an eyelid agenesis on her right eye. It was supposed to be a bilateral surgery but when Dr Cotrill at Mass Veterinary Referral Hospital had her under anesthesia, she concluded that it would be in Molly's best interest to remove her left eye totally. Her left eye was so much smaller than normal and she had no sight in it at all so to leave it would have more of a hindrance to Molly so we gave our permission to have it removed. Since she has had the surgery in her right eye, she is better able to close her right eye and she actually has an eyelid where as before it was adhered to her eyeball. She has healed beautifully and is now ready to be adopted to the right person who can give Molly the love that she so deserves. She would do better in a home where there is another kitty who is as laid back as Molly. She's quite motherly and loves to wash the other kittens here. She plays, runs up and down stairs as a normal kitten would do. She has no restrictions. She's a wonderful kitty who is so affectionate and loving. I can't tell you what a great kitty she is. We all just love her!! My name is Molly. I am a young kitten who was found wandering around the parking lot behind a local restaurant. The nice people from BCCC took me to the vet and found out since birth, my eyelids are attached to my eyes. I also have some brain damage, which affects my fine motor skills. (I'm a little wobbly). What I lack in balance, I make up for in personality. I'm fun-loving and keep my foster mom laughing, all the time. I love people and other kitties. My eyelid issue requires specialized surgery by a kitty ophthalmologist. And, when the time is right, I will be looking of a very special home with that very special cat person who has a level home where I can enjoy my grown-up cat days in my forever home.
